I have maintained most of the "image number" information from the original site, primarily as a way of differentiating between entries. If an image number has a letter after it (ie, it reads "(image #1a)"), then I had to edit or correct the vessel name a bit, and I wanted to differentiate the number from existing image numbers.

This site has about 100,000 images of vessels in it, all available for free. It's a great site for browsing and finding old images.
